About us
We are here to help girls and youth build confident, educated, and empowered lives
Angala Trust is a registered charitable organization founded in 2015 by Ms. Jyothi Hitnal in Koppal, Karnataka. Our mission is to ensure that girls—especially from Devadasi, Dalit, and marginalized families—have access to education, safety, and opportunities for a better future.
Through community training, educational scholarships, and awareness programs, we work to prevent child marriage, support higher education, and promote gender equality in rural areas.
Our approach combines compassion, advocacy, and empowerment—helping every girl realize her potential and lead with confidence.
When I started Angala Trust in 2015, my dream was to create opportunities for every girl—especially those from Devadasi and marginalized families—to study, grow, and live with dignity. Education is not just about books; it’s about confidence, equality, and freedom.
